Becoming a Director

I have directed other projects, and I have found each time I learn something not just about the role but about myself. So I am hoping that the experiences that I have had in the past will help me be better on this project. I know in the past I can be ‘to open’ to other opinions and which clouds my decision making. However this is a project that I truly have a passion for and a vision for the film.

I decided to do some research into what makes a director. Some of the things that kept coming up was to analyse films while watching, to write screenplays and to film as much as possible. Which I have been doing since being at university. I just have to be confident and believe in my skills and project.

I came across this video on what Morgan Freeman thinks makes a good actor. And I agree because from past projects actors can make of break the final outcome.
